What was your work experience before studying at CodeAcademy?
For many years, I worked in our family business, which gave me diverse experience, but I had very limited knowledge of marketing—especially digital marketing (PPC). That’s why I decided it was time to expand my expertise in this fast-growing field.
Why did you choose to study at CodeAcademy?
The courses at CodeAcademy are comprehensive and informative, covering a wide range of topics. The instructors are passionate professionals who truly know their field. While my main focus was on PPC and SEO, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the course also included WordPress training. This was extremely valuable, as I could immediately apply my new knowledge by making changes to our website on my own. Every piece of knowledge gained during the course turned out to be incredibly useful.
What were your initial goals when you decided to study at CodeAcademy?
My primary goal was to gain a solid understanding of digital marketing and apply it in my professional field.
How did you stay motivated during difficult moments?
I’m naturally curious and have a strong desire to keep learning and improving. Acquiring new knowledge gives me energy and motivation. Even though the course was intensive, the growing amount of knowledge and increasing confidence in my skills made all the effort worthwhile. In my opinion, education is the best investment in yourself and your future.
What did you do to land your first job?
Even before the course started, I actively researched the job market to understand the demand for specialists in my field. I strongly believe in the power of networking, so I regularly participate in various communities. That’s actually how I found my first job—I came across a job posting in a community I was part of, applied, and quickly secured the position.
What advice would you give to those looking to switch careers?
It’s essential to find a field that truly interests and excites you—this will keep you motivated throughout the learning process. You should also stay up to date with industry trends and actively engage with professional communities. These communities are invaluable because members freely share their knowledge and experiences. Being surrounded by like-minded people makes it easier to grow and develop in your chosen field.
